The ‘Emirati Genome Programme’ is a study which aims to explore the genetic makeup of Emiratis, using cutting-edge DNA sequencing and artificial intelligence technologies to generate quality and comprehensive genomic data about Emiratis.
The resulting reference genome will lead to a personalised and preventive healthcare for the UAE’s citizens and a comprehensive understanding of rare genetic disorders and new treatments.
Zayed University invites all its valued alumni to pass by its campuses (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) next week from Monday 13th of November to Thursday 16th of November, 8 AM to 3 PM to participate at the Emirati Genome Programme. The study team conducting the research will be present on campus during these days/hours.
