Jazala Hamad: “When I was young I was always good with numbers, so I decided to study at Zayed University & major in accounting and finance.”
Jazala did her internship with Deloitte which was a pioneering move for the firm – becoming the first UAE national to be hired by the professional service giant in the UAE. “It wasn’t customary for women to become auditors in the UAE at the time,” Jazala reflects.
Now, thirteen years later, Jazala continues to move forward at Deloitte. She is currently in the Audit and Assurance division.
