Fatma Mohammad Anwahi: Research Assistant, ZU BSc in Psychology Alumni of 2020, from College of Natural and Health Sciences. She has worked as a Research Assistant under the supervision of the Associate Professor Dr. Jigar Jogia in her last 2 years of university journey #Proud_ZUAlumni.
Currently she is working in patient health access programs with Axios International; a leading organization with best practices for access to health care in the last 25+ years. She aspires to be a psychologist that would advance mental health in the UAE.
In October 2021, Fatma presented with Dr. Jogia their research at the scholarship of teaching and learning Annual Conference 2021. Due to the pandemic, sudden changes were required, and students moved from traditional learning on campus to online learning. This paper aimed to explore students’ engagement and perceptions of online learning and traditional learning with students in three psychology courses: Mental health and psychological disorders, organizational Psychology, and Senior Project.
Since students are one of the main pillars of education, investigating their needs is one of the main keys for education improvement.
