Alya Sultan Al Eghfeli and Jawaher Ali AlKhayyal earned their BA in Interior Design at the College of Art and Creative Enterprises at Zayed University (2016) - #Proud_ZUAlumni
Alya and Jawaher collaborated with IKEA Organization that is called 'IKEA x Local Culture'. The collaboration is based on spreading awareness about the essence of the Emirati culture amongst the IKEA teams.
Alya and Jawaher started by hosting seminar then mentoring and guiding the teams during the creative workshops by sharing tangible and intangible aspect related to the Emirati Culture, from the past to our present day. The goal was to provide the IKEA teams with a well rounded knowledge about the Emirati culture that would empower them to design for the local community very confidently.
